Who we are

This website is run by author Olin Lester. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website and the Olin Lester email newsletter.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us.

• Contact form: your name, email address and message. These are emailed to Olin so he can reply. They are not added to the newsletter list.
• Newsletter and free books: when you sign up to get a free book, you give your email address (and sometimes your first name). You are added to the Olin Lester newsletter for that series.
• Basic technical information: like most websites, the site's hosting and spam-protection services may automatically log things such as your browser type and IP address to keep the site working and secure.

We do not sell your information, and we do not collect payment details. All book purchases happen on Amazon or other retailers.

How it's used and who handles it

We use your information only to reply to you and to send the newsletter and free books you asked for. A few trusted services handle it for us:

The site also links to Amazon book pages. Once you click through, Amazon's own privacy policy applies.

We keep your information for as long as you stay subscribed or as long as needed to answer your message.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe any time: every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
• See, correct or delete your information: email us and we'll take care of it.
• Questions about this policy: contact olinlesterbooks@gmail.com or use the Contact page.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
